Comment:
Excellent Job!! You provided a paper that included paragraph transitions which
improved the overall flow of your paper. However you had some sentences that
were grammatically incorrect. Also, you failed to fully explain the operative
 paradigms.

WOOT! I passed AND with an A-!  I was hoping for at lease a B. Ha!  I was called up by the professor because I was not doing my participation requirements enough or accurately so I was determined to fix that and thankfully it all worked out.

Onto my next course, RES711.  Now before I go into the requirements of RES711, I need to note that I know I need to improve on the scheduling for two things: participation and readings.  Participation is required three times a week, twice a day.  It's not easy because you have to cite everything and you have to have posts to reply to available.  I have pretty much got that part down now in previous course.  So the next thing I thought about was trying to get a good eReader for the Phoenix eBooks to read on my iPad.  Surprisingly, there aren't many apps that can unlock these eBooks.  However, after much trial, error, research, and $9.99, I finally found one called PDF Reader Pro Edition for iPad.  It works as expected of a reader with very few limitations.  So long as I can read the material, I am good.

Here is the basic requirements list for RES711 (not the syllabus):

Nongraded Activities and Preparation: CITI Certification

All doctoral learners must take an online human subjects training course. By Week Eight, you will be required to complete the Collaborative Institutions Training Initiative (CITI) course and certifications. To access the course, learners must first register with the CITI website—University of Phoenix’s partner in human subjects training. To register, please complete the following process:
  • Log on to the CITI website at www.citiprogram.org.
  • Scroll to and click the Continue to Register link.
  • Click theBasic modules for biomedical or social and behavioral researchers link.
  • Click the CITI Core Course link.
  • Complete all required fields in the online form; a registration e-mail will be sent to you within 1 business day with all essential information for accessing and completing your course.
  • Save all certificates of completion on your local hard drive and provide a copy of the certificate to your facilitator for credit.
Note. You must score at least 80% on the entire CITI training course across all modules to pass.
Individual Assignment: Doctoral Student Preparedness Assessment
Complete the Doctoral Student Preparedness Assessment located under the Week One materials on your student website. This assessment will not be graded, although you will receive points for completing it. It will function as a baseline to assess your current understanding of research concepts, fundamental principles, and how to conduct sound, ethical research studies. This assessment will be administered again at the end of your program to measure your growth as a research scholar.

Take a screenshot of your results page and submit them to your facilitator to receive credit.
